When I hear the words barbecue and grill used in the same sentence (folks that means almost always smile) I always think of the same things. It may not be the same as when you hear Barbecue grills but give me a minute. You will find what you need for soon enough.
When I hear the words barbecue and grill I think beyond the culinary experience, beyond the fragrance of the familiar barbecue sauce momma use to make, beyond the hot dogs being grilled and hamburgers being served up, dripping barbecued( with that sauce all over them), and barbecue chicken sitting on my plate with all the fixin's, it makes me happy happy.
When I hear the words barbecue and grill I think of family and friends, fun and games. We all love barbecue grilling because it keeps the mess out the house and the family busy. Am I right? It's truly become an American tradition. It really doesn't matter how many people come by, it's about the fun and laughter old stories and new memories.
You hear about all the barbecue sauce recipes and the fellas talking about the latest barbecue accessories. Watching the smiles on their faces of friends and family as they pull up and carrying a little something the made at home.I have to tell you it gives me a warm feeling down in the pit of my belly.
I mean that sincerely. The truth be told, when I hear the words barbecue grill I think of folks coming together ready to do their best grilling ever and hoping it satisfies everyone. Competition has become stiff, it can range from the ridiculous to the even more ridiculous. I read back in April of this year, some good old boys in Kentucky had a BBQ explosion, where 275 cooking teams got together and turned Kentucky clean upside down. Here are the most common and familiar gas grills on the market. You'll find many of these units in local stores, but there are other grills you should consider that can be a bit harder to find. Weber-Stephen Products Co. This is a basic 3-burner gas grill for around $350. While there are many similar grills, or even grills with more extras this is the cheapest grill you can get made by Weber.
This means a good design, with great support, and pretty good longevity for a moderate price. If quality is a serious issue with you, but you can't afford to spend more then this is a grill you should take a serious look at (if you can find one). Yes, there have been some cutbacks in materials to deliver this grill for the price, but the internal components are still good quality and designed to last longer than other, fancier grills.

To afford all these features and extras this grill has limits in construction. The stainless steel is low grade and the burners are lightweight. An okay grill, but not a great one.

With 4 burners and a side burner you get a well sized and feature grill for around $300USD (sold exclusively at Lowe's though similar models sell else where). The heat output is good and this grill will cook well. Unfortunately it won't cook well for long. The burners on this unit are thin, low grade stainless steel that should last for about 2 to 3 years. Most of the internal components are of the same quality.
